General Information

What languages will the conference be held in?
The language of each session will be indicated in the program.
Will sessions be recorded or available online?
There is no recording planned for this event. If a recording or virtual access is offered, information will be communicated closer to the event, if applicable.
How will I know if my submission is accepted?
Authors will be notified by email once the evaluation process is complete. Further details will be provided at that time.
When will the full program be available?
The full program will be published closer to the event on the conference website.

Registration and Participation

Will I receive a confirmation after registering?
Yes. A confirmation email and a payment receipt will be sent to you once your registration is complete.
Can I upgrade from a Single-Day Registration to a Full Conference Registration?
This modification may be possible, subject to availability. To request this, please contact the organizers at info@lvi2026.org.

If applicable, you will be invited to complete a new registration. Once confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email and receipt, followed by an email confirming the cancellation of your initial registration.
Can I transfer my registration to someone else?
Transfer requests can be reviewed. Please contact the organizers for assistance. A confirmation of the updated registration will be sent by email once the transfer is complete.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@lvi2026.org.

Refunds may be granted, subject to applicable terms and deadlines:
  • Cancellations received by August 16: full or partial refund (minus applicable fees)
  • Cancellations received after August 16: no refund
Substitutions may be permitted upon request.
Will there be networking opportunities?
Yes. The program will include opportunities for networking and informal exchanges.

What accommodation options are available for the conference?
A block of rooms has been reserved for LVI 2026 participants at a preferential rate of $309 per night. To take advantage of this rate, please visit the dedicated booking link.

Is parking available on site?
Parking is available at the Marriott Château Champlain. For current rates and accessibility information, please consult the hotel's website.
What should I expect upon arrival?
Information regarding on-site reception and registration will be communicated before the event.

Presenters and On-Site Experience

When will presenters receive detailed instructions?
Speakers will receive additional information closer to the event, including logistics and presentation guidelines.
What equipment will be available in the meeting rooms?
Standard audiovisual equipment will be provided. Additional details will be communicated to speakers before the conference.
Will presentation materials be made available after the conference?
Information regarding the potential availability of presentation materials will be communicated after the event, if applicable.

A selection of papers will be published in the Journal of Open Access to Law and Les Cahiers de droit.
Will internet access be available on site?
Yes. Wi-Fi access will be available at the venue, and details will be provided on-site.
